After Biology 4 exam , we went to Gossip Cafe near our college ... It's sort of new but the restaurant offers us a place to gossip ( with a cheap price ) .... It has become a hang out spot for us ...If anyone comes to MCKL next time , tell me , I'll bring you there . You won't regret it , I promised . ( Terms and conditions apply ) .....

Chinese New Year

' Sang Wo ' - Part One

Sorry for the late update ... I was computerless for like 5 days after exam ...... until I came to my grandparents' house .....



After Biology 4 , we were quarantined as usual . However , it was the most horrible quarantine we had ..... No books , no cards ( we tried to play but it was confiscated .... thanks to some lecturer .... this was so like living in WMS .... I wonder why so many of our juniors entered MCKL this year ... ) . So , we played with everything we have got .... And please , don't be sick enough to think about sick things .....



P.S : This is MCKL we are talking about .... So , anything worse than being late for class is considered severe ........



So , we played BINGO ...... Yes ... like writing down 25 numbers and crossing out those numbers to form 5 lines to win ...... the winner would put his or her hand at the centre stacked up by hands of other players ... he or she will then hit one of the unlucky hands ....... Believe it or not , someone actually was sad enough not to know how to play this game .... His ( P****V's ) hand was so RED .... poor thing ..... I bet he would never attempt bingo anymore ....

It was overall the most miserable quarantine anyone could bare ..... At 8.00pm sharp , we left the quarantine room and went on with our plan to eat ' Sang Wo ' at some place ....

As we walked towards the college office , we were filled with wonders . Would the arts people show up as promised ? Would the plan be cancelled if many people didn't show ? ............................................................................................................................................................

3rd day , 4th day , 5th day ...... ???

Great . I lost count already ..... It seems like yesterday I was grumbling about how hard Biology 1 was and today is the last day of exam !!! ..... But coincidentally it has to end with Biology 4 .... swt ... While many people have already started their honeymoon yesterday after Physics 4 ( did I forget to mention how $%^&$ hard Physics 4 was ? ) , the Bio students must have burnt their midnight oil for Biology 4 considering the rest of the unit 4 exams were like @#$%%^ . That's it la , can start saving money to retake the papers already , RM4 per day for each paper for 3 months .....

Well , we are still better than the Econs people . Let's just say that they get an extra week to study Econs 4 which will be held on 26 Jan ( Next Monday - Chinese New Year !!! ) ..... Erhem , no offence but your exam arrangement made my sleepless night felt so much better .... Lol ...

Anyway , after exam my classmates and I have planned to eat 'Yee Sang' to celebrate the end of our torturing days at errr ..... well , we haven't come to an agreement yet ( thanks to democracy and the eagerness from everyone to express their ideas ... ) but it will definitely work out .... it has to be or *someone* has got some explanation to do . I am blogging before the exam , so I have no idea what is going to happen tonight .


P.S. :
In case anyone hasn't realised , I have come out with a better way to censor names . J** H** isn't such a good cover after all . Yesterday D***** C***** practically blew all the covers I used in my previous blogs in front of me ..... Is the cover really so lousy ??? So from now on I'll use *someone* to protect myself from being sued for defamation ... Many of my friends are taking law and are very good at it , so I have got to step up as well ...

That's all for the exam season .... Yeah , and by the way , this Friday's trip to #$%%&^ has been cancelled ( thanks to M*** J*** S****** , E***** G** , H*** K** K*** , D***** C***** ...... too many people with all sorts of excuses ...... balik kampung , leg injury , meeting ..... haih ..... so I purposely use bad covers to make them feel a bit guilty ... ) . But I have not given up because I'll go with D**** N********* ( a beautiful young lady ok ) .... only both of us and we are so going to enjoy ourselves ... Haha ..

2nd Day - Maths and Chem Practical Day

Maths was okay ......... So I'll go straight to Chemistry practical ......

I was very lucky to be placed in the first group . We got fresh chemicals , new apparatus , clean burette and all ...... it gave me a little more confidence . Sitting beside me was K*** L***** ( we'll just call him KL in this discussion ) . Well , for those of you who don't know KL or couldn't puzzle his name together , he is like the chemistry genius in my class , he got the highest for chemistry for trials , so the pressure was definitely there ....

So , we did the usual things ...... It was overall a normal paper beside the fact that they gave us METHYL ORANGE !!! In case you don't know , methyl orange is the worst indicator you can ever get ....... the end point is impossible to tell ..... it was red initially and theoretically should turn orange at the end point , but due to all possible errors one can make during the experiment , sometimes the red colouration would be so diluted that it was not possible to distinguish between red and orange ...... As a result , we got all sorts of nonsense results , no one got the same mean titre ....... so that's it ...... 8 marks for accuracy ....... " Whoosh ! " ....... Gone .

Anyway , after the dreadful one hour and 45 minutes , we were quarantined ........ not long just from 3.45pm until 8pm , which was only 4 HOURS !!! As usual , like high school , we were not allowed to play cards ...... ridiculous but this was how the college runs ... so no comment so far because I don't want to lose my scholarship for this ..... no thanks .

So , there we were , couldn't do anything at all . You study , people start calling you a nerd . You sleep , people start calling you antisocial . You talk , the lecturer in charge ask you to shut up . You try to get some fresh air outside , well , guess what ? You will be dealt with severely because it's a 'quarantine' kononnya ........ Overall , we just did seven things : Talking , chatting , giggling , laughing , shouting at times , hitting tables and clapping hands .... you know , those ridiculous things that we will do when we lose control in our laughter...... The only person who could make us perfectly silent was ........... McDonald's . Yes , I was shocked myself ....... Food serves more than just food , isn't it ?

During the quarantine I enjoyed myself very much . We even planned a trip to @#%^#$# ....... Sorry , can't reveal .... but it'll be fun ....... I am definitely going to post a full page blog on what happens on that day ...... so stay close .......

After the quarantine , Kumaran's sister , Gomathy was kind enough to send me home . Not forgetting to mention that they bought me dinner at Sentul Fish Head Curry House ...... Boy , you all must go there and indulge your taste buds .... but I don't have the address now , so you can ask Kumaran ...... Thanks a lot , Kumaran and Gomathy !

Ist Day - Bio Day

I know this may be a bit late , but I was busy k .... so , here goes what happened on the first Big Day .....

So far the marchies have not taken any exams , so guess what ? We have to take all four units ONE SHOT !!! Isn't it just great ? So , there we were , at 1.45pm started doing Bio 1 . I could still remember how shocked I was when I started doing my paper : This was the first question :
Q1 : Name two structural similarities between the above molecules . ( the molecules were sucrose , lactose , cellulose and amyloplast .... I hope I didn't get this wrong also ) ....... Does anyone know the answer ? Because what do they expect ? Do they expect us to know the structure of each molecule in detail enough to tell what these four have in common ? This question itself did the trick of stalling me for about 10 minutes ... and guess what , I couldn't figure it out and moved on to the next question ....... how foolish .....

Anyway , the rest of the questions were also dreadful ...... not super hard . They gave us 2 diagrams to draw : Anaphase and structure of mitochondrion . I wasted a lot of time also . Plus , the lousy eraser I brought couldn't even do its one and only function : erase cleanly ..... My diagrams were horrible .... I ended up just finishing everything at the last second ..... Wait , no , I continued to write for like 5 seconds even after they said ' Time's up !! ' ..... I guarantee I screw up that paper .....

To make things worse , we were only given a 15 minutes break IN THE EXAM HALL !!! Can you imagine that ? My hands hadn't even recovered from exhaustion before the next paper started ..... Well , I am sure someone ( you know who you are : W** H** , T**** S**** and CJ*** ) will say ' Who ask you to take Bio instead of Further Maths ?! ' .......

Nevertheless , there was something good about this exam as well ...... Do you know what it is ? .... For those who know me well enough , you should have known it . YES !!! It's the INVIGILATORS !!! .... Goodness , I always look forward to see who are those people in charge of giving me a hard time ....... Well , there's this chinese-malayish looking lady invigilator with heavy make-up and all , one of my girl friends ( A** J***** ) said that she was hot , but I think she isn't really that hot though . But she is quite tall and she makes a toothpick looks fat ........ and I am not exaggerating at all .......

Well , what a day . But I know I am not the best Bio material , so leave the rest to ........ er ...... I hate to say it ........ but I'll just leave it to G** .......

Pre-Examination Stress

Great , tomorrow is the day most of us have all been waiting for .... Good luck to Business Studies and Biology students ..... As many of you know , I ENJOY watching people suffer from the pre-examination stress ( the part when people look as if they will pass out any minute ; and how people struggle to cramp the whole book into their brains at last minute .... ) . I don't want to be mean , the fact is that , I will never have the guts to do this because I won't be as confident if I realize that there are things I don't know .... so I am being a coward all this while ........

Anyway , today I found out that KM is organising a new year trip .... I am very proud of him .... probably he is too free considering his SAM is already completed ..... Anyway , thanks but it really comes down to last minute decision ( family first ) , so I'll tell KM then ...... sorry ..... but Wei Han's place all of you must go because he has been very secretive about his place all this while ...... I wonder what he is trying to hide .......

Today I had the most horrible food during lunch . One of my friends ( K* H** ) put through such misery ... this was how it went .......

K* H** : " Jia Hui , you ok or not ? The Roti Kaya you ordered turned out to be Roti Kosong ....
Why not you try this @#$%^* ( the food ) .... it tastes like potato chip ... "
Me : ( Greedy ) " Sure or not , looks so Indian-ish , I don't Indian herbs de wo ... "
K* H** : " Try la , you won't regret one !!! "
Me : " Ok " ...... ( tasted the @#$%^ ) ...... " OMG !!! " ( forcing the @#$%^ down my throat
and I ordered another cup of Air Limau Ais ) " Are your taste buds OK ? This is
nothing close to a potato , what is it ? It's gross ... "
K* H** : " Ok , ok , it's nice what .... it's @#$% .... "

*** Wanna find out that @#$%^ is ? I'm not gonna tell .... Just go to ' Yusuf and Ali ' near Jalan Tun Sambanthan 3 , third shop from the end corner and order it ..... taste it for yourself .... it's called @#$%^ ...... *****

Eunice PONTENG ?

Today is the second day of college , yet the most impossible thing has happened .... E***** G** , our smartest student in the March batch , did not show up in college today ... Just so you all know , she has never missed any lesson before this....... seems like this examination is really changing everyone ...

Anyway , I came to college as usual for Physics extra class ... Even though our physics lecturer was kind enough to give free lesson ( he wasn't paid at all as he is a part time staff ) , only one third of the class showed up ..... so much for the 'cohortish' spirit and respect for the lecturer ........ I am really disappointed ....

Well , no big deal ... I'm sure all of these are just pre-examination stress ..... Here , I would like to wish all the A-level students all the best and please don't turn yourself into a nerd .....

1st Day College Surprises

Finally , after 1 lazy month I had , I could take this opportunity to boost my motivation to start preparing for the exam ...... which will be held in like 3 DAYS !!! Yikes ...... past years are all still as good as new ......

Anyway , coming back to college gave me a few surprises .... Not just seeing people , but their NEW LOOKS !!! Yes .... it's all about the looks in 2009 ...... Let me give you a list of people you should look out for .......

( 1 ) First in the list is definitely ........ KA HUI !!! My goodness ..... only G*D knows what the hair stylist had done to his hair ...... he claimed that when the hair stylist used wax and all it looked really cool ....... but the thing is , kh doesn't use wax ...... nor did he ask the hair stylist how to style his hair ..... so good luck ........ I wish I took a picture of his new look , but I guess all of you just have to see for yourself ....... no offence ...

( 2 ) Second on the menu is Aaron Luke !!! Looks like someone is going from 'coolio' to 'hottie' ..... btw , Aaron , don't worry , I don't have a crush on you ........ Well , the thing all of us should know about the Aaron is the amount of wax he used on his hair ..... only G*D knows how many tonnes of petroleum is needed to manufacture the wax for his hair ........ but now , I guess we can expect the fuel price to drop even further ........

( 3 ) Next , I have to apologise beforehand , I don't mean to back stab my friend , but it's really something we should look out for ...... he is famous for changing hairstyle now and then ( I have seen more outrageous ones ) ........ some people may call it ' LALA ' but it's ok I think ... probably I am immuned to his hairstyle already ...... Who is he ? Well , just so that we stay as friend , I'll do my part .... E*** S*** ........ have fun figuring out ........

I think that's all I have seen today ........ the juniors I haven't seen much , so no comment so far ........ the girls in MCKL are VERY decent ......

How I spent my first day of 2009

Great ..... 3 entries in 24 hours ....... am I just talkative or what ....... anyway , this is how I spent my first day in 2009 .......



While KM n friends busy enjoying themselves with the impromptu new year eve party at Bukit Jalil , I followed my family back to my grandparents' place ( the only place where I can go online .... so ironic ) . It's a small town near Kuala Selangor , so no fireworks , no new year eve parties , nothing much in particular ......... zzzzzzzz



I woke up at 11am , watched youtube , msn , read other people's blogs till evening ..... to summarise my day in one word , then it's 'sien' .... to make things worse , viwawa is having some sort of problems ... goodness , I can't even load Wahjong ?!!! To those who don't know what viwawa is , please go and check out http://www.viwawa.com/ ...... it's cooler than Dota , CS , RO ..... If you are playing , please tell me your username , we can mahjong sometime ...... lol .
