NS Reflections

It's been about one year now since I joined the National Service ... Actually , the only reason I joined such a thing when I could just postpone was my desire to leave home ... Yes , sounds very un-jiahui-ish but that was the truth ... But it was so much more .... Just so you know , Pang Yean and I were in the same camp ( Tasik Chini rocks !! ) but at that time we weren't as close as we are now .... and both of us ended up in the same college ...

I just wanna say NS was really cool and memorable ... If I were to be given the opportunity to choose again , I wouldn't have done anything differently ... Besides , without NS , I'll be in the January batch which means I would be miserable because everyone is so smart there !!! In short , NS rocks and hope they make it harder for the new batch of trainees ...... can't wait to see them suffer 3 months without pork ( this is the toughest thing in NS actually ) .

And to my friends who shared this 3-months experience : Pang Yean , Andrew ( thanks for the char siu from your parents during familiy visits ) , Yong Wen , Felix , Yong Kang , Ivan , Kevin Lim , Ah Keong , Chi Wei , Zhan Ye , Doctor ( it's a nickname ) , Ah Dou , Ah Han .... omg , so many .... sorry if I forgot to mention your name , too many names d la ....... Good luck to you all in 2009 !!!

My 1st BLOG !!!

So , this is it huh ... finally Jia Hui is blogging ........ unbelievable .....

This is what I am gonna do .... I will not leak any word regarding my blog ( I mean I won't tell other people my blog add , but should they google it or something then I can't do anything about it ) ..... Come to think about it , what's a blog for when there are no readers ? ...... hmmm ... ironic ...

Apart from this , I promise I am not going to edit a word of this blog after I have written it just to keep it true to myself ........

Let's start with why blogging now ? Well , I keep most of the things to myself ....... but yet I am super talkative ...... so thanks to my friends who blog ( you know who you are ) , I shall try .... and maybe I will let my guard down a bit ...... it's just a try , no promises .....lolz

Wah ..... so much crap d la ...... I suppose what people do on their blogs is just to write down daily stuff rite ? So , am I suppose to tell how my day was ? Okie .... crazy fella monologuing ...

O ya , today is NEW YEAR !!! But I haven't done anything special yet apart from this blog ....haih ..... I did spend my new year eve in college . OOOOOOO ........ tats it , I got a super juicy story ..... you guys are gonna love it , D***se is gonna kill me ( but I sensored the name so I think it's covered up ) .

Ok , so this is what happened k ....

Today a few of us went back to college to study but I should say to wahjong . We went out for lunch at Gossip Cafe .... bla bla bla ... Then on d way back , this girl I mentioned above suddenly told me something about a ' prostitute home ' ( I forgot what's the name she used , but this was what she meant ) .... so she got me curious . How could I not know there was a place like that beside my college after studying there for like 9 months ?! Well , it was really there .... pretty much covered up . There were a few ' A peks ' ( uncles ) in front of this dark glass doors , sitting there , looking pretty normal ... But what she did was beyond the craziest thing you can ever do ... She shouted to me ' Jia Hui ! ( pointing the 'shop' right across the street ) , come here , this is the one ! ' ............OMG , people (especially those uncles ) were practically staring at her with their jaws on the ground ... Did I forget to mention that this girl is quite pretty ? Ya , and she was wearing this ' church camp for children ' T-shirt .......... makes me feel pretty good staying religionless .....And that's it la , I bet she won't ever step into that street anymore .... And I was so lucky that I said 'NO' ..... or else I will be damned by the same fate as hers .....I am so acting this scene when college reopens k ...... I have got witnesses in case anyone doesn't believe it ......

Ok , I did crap a lot .... feeling good . may continue blogging next time ...
